Sometimes people say that the glaciers are all going to melt and kill us all

It is a common belief that if the glaciers melt, the will make the ocean level raise a whole bunch making it difficult for us to live. I did some research on it to see if that is truly the case. I learned that the glaciers melting that are already sitting in the ocean won't raise the ocean level at all. I learned that the glaciers that are on ground that melt will raise the ocean level but very insignificantly. It makes the theory of global warming almost insignificant and unimportant. I wish people would research before they spread rumors.
