The Internet is all aflutter with Beyonce fans trying to track down her latest music video, Beyonce’s “Ego” video. There are many ways that star-struck fans can view the Beyonce “Ego” video.

Let me count the ways

As the sudden scramble for Beyonce’s “Ego” video shows, people are fascinated by Beyonce. She is an undeniable example of the “triple-threat” singer/dancer/actress combination.

She’s also a model, spokeswoman and insanely rich person. She could probably hand out low cost loans to all of her friends without thinking twice. I wouldn’t want to guess at Beyonce’s net worth, but let’s take a look at her career and all of the different ways she pulls in the big bucks.

For the sake of brevity, let’s start with the release of Beyonce’s first solo album. Of course, prior to this she was in the wildly popular group Destiny’s Child, which sold tons of albums. But we can’t cover everything, so we’ll start in 2003 with the release of “Dangerously in Love.”

This album went multiplatinum, just as the 2006 album “B’Day” and her most recent release “I Am … Sasha Fierce” did. Even in an era when the internet is taking over the music scene with free, pirated tracks, Beyonce’s album sales still go through the roof.

Film career

Many fans — both of Beyonce and of Mike Meyers — remember Beyonce’s debut silver screen performance in “Austin Powers in Goldmember.” That movie pulled in more than $213 million at the box office.
