Tony Mandarich, the former Green Bay Packer whose name is synonymous with the words “NFL bust,” is out with a new book in which he details his life of steroid use and lying to people during his football career. Former Michigan state professional football player Tony Mandarich has admitted during an interview with Armen Keteyian on "Inside the NFL" show that he had indeed used steroids and faked a drug test before the 1988 Rose Bowl.Tony also said that he had a severe drug and alcohol addiction before he was drafted by Green Bay Packers in the 1989 NFL season. After a highly successful and nationally publicized collegiate career at Michigan State University, Tony was drafted number two overall in 1989 by the Green Bay Packers. Mandarich also reveals that he had a life-threatening addiction to painkillers and alcohol prior to entering the NFL, which continued during his three-year tenure with the Green Bay Packers.
