Teresa Giudice auction to help pay down debts

Teresa Giudice filed for bankruptcy in October. With $ 11 million in debt, the couple was just unable to pay for anything any longer. The court and trustee are requiring numerous of their belongings be auctions to pay off this debt. The Teresa Giudice auction is scheduled for August 22, though the Giudice’s lawyer is fighting the auction.

All the debts paid with Teresa Giudice’s auction money

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star has a lot of debt. Between her and her husband, they claim an income of $ 79,000 a year. Bravo TV pays Teresa Giudice $ 3,333 a month. From his stucco and stone company, her husband makes about $ 3,250 a month. With this income, the couple has a $ 1.8 million mansion in Towaco, N.J. They also have homes in Lincoln Par and on the Jersey Shore. They owe $ 12,000 to a fertility clinic and more than $ 5 million to former real-estate partners. Though in court documents Teresa Giudice claims to spend about $ 400 a month on clothes, she has been filmed spending more than $ 2,000 in a 10-minute clothing shopping spree.

What can be sold at the Teresa Giudice auction

At noon in the Towaco home is where the Teresa Giudice auction is planned to begin. Items up for sale contain two flat-screen televisions, a pool table, sofas and chandeliers. The publicity Teresa Giudice has been getting might just make those items go up in price. Either way, the money can be used to help pay down the creditors, and Teresa Giudice and her husband can have to try to live within their means within the future.
