On Erin Andrews Is Elizabeth Hasselbeck Commenting On The View

Elizabeth Hasselbeck On Erin Andrews - Comments On The View

Elizabeth Hasselbeck's comments on Erin Andrews about the Dancing with the Stars wardrobe hasn't endeared the “View” co host to many. Some of Hasselbeck's comments refer to Andrew's stalker and the way he wouldn't need to invade her privacy if he would have just waited to see her in some of those outfits. To say these remarks were insensitive would be understatement. It takes more than some installment loans for people with bad credit for a truckload of mouthwash to cure the taste of foot-in-mouth after this type of thing.

Elizabeth Hasselbeck’s Erin Andrews remarks

On Tuesday, May 4, Elizabeth Hasselbeck opined on The View that Erin Andrews’ “Dancing with the Stars” outfights were too revealing. Instead of just saying something to the effect of “her outfits are just a little skimpy” and then moving on, she decided that she’s the fashion police and that it’s acceptable to joke about the Erin Andrews peephole video event and when everybody viewed in horror:

“as inexcusable as it was for that guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room … I mean, in some way if I’m him, I’m like ‘Man! I could’ve just waited 12 weeks and seen this,’ just a little bit less, without the prison time!”

(This came from the Huffington Post). I guess sense and class can't be bought, no matter how rich you are. Ironically enough, it is forgotten to be displayed by the rich class often.

Erin Andrews isn't amused at all

To respond to Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Andrews said her remarks were “a slap within the face to victims of stalking and sexual predators” after she appeared on Dancing with the Stars.

Elizabeth Hasselbeck throws in her apology

On May 5, Hasselbeck apologized for her remarks. She even teared up during her apology. She doesn't really seem sorry and people believe she only appears to be sorry because she is in trouble.

Where is the line drawn?

The fallout of Elizabeth Hasselbeck's Erin Andrews remarks will run its course and could be forgotten in due time by all. In the grand scheme of things, she put her foot in her mouth and seems to have realized it. A person should not be afraid to lampoon the things that deserve it, but obviously, some things go a little bit beyond the pale.
