NCAA pauses for a sigh of relief as Duke is in the Final Four teams

For 2010 your Final Four teams are Michigan State, Butler, West Virginia, and Duke. That's a one seed, and upstart two seed, and two five seeds, for all those NCAA bracket acolytes. It’s the first time since 2000 that teams lower than a four seed have made it this far, so even the autistic kid’s bracket must be fouled by now. According to the San Jose-Mercury News, the NCAA uses March Madness to provide 90 percent of its yearly revenue, which almost gave the NCAA a massive coronary. Luckily, Duke brings a small bit of name recognition to basketball, getting fan flocks, so the bigwigs can rest easy. That means moving merchandise and massive television ratings – in a TV contract negotiation year, no less. Minus Duke, there could be no big bargaining chips and a need for money lenders.

Final Four schedule to observe your Final Four teams

All Final Four teams will play on Saturday, April 3 on CBS, or March Madness On Demand if you like watching online. The winners of those two games will play in a championship game on Monday, April 5, which also happens to be the first day of the Major League Baseball season. Again, the NCAA Championship game will be on CBS and March Madness On Demand. Games are usually held in the early evening, particularly the championship game, but the exact start times have not been announced. You should check your local listings!

The Final Four teams – things to view out for

1. Butler will be playing just 15 minutes away from their home campus. Since they’re putting together a 24-game winning streak, the "Gonzaga" of the Horizon conference should shock no one for the destination in the Final Four teams.

2. Ton Izzo is an ace coach and North Carolina beat Michigan State in last year's championship. This also shouldn't be a surprise.

3. This is the first Final Four appearance West Virginia has made since 1959. That was way back when Jerry West, Mr. Clutch, was still lacing them. Here’s the bracket buster, the maverick among the Final Four teams for 2010. They don’t always win pretty, they just win. Luckily, Da'Sean Butler is an amazing scorer.

4. Duke has great ability, plays smart basketball, and is well coached. The trade was learned from Bobby Knight, a drill sergeant in coach's clothing, by Coach Krzyzewski. His players would definitely qualify for military payday loans. That is what makes them the favorite, whether or not they’re exploited by more athletic teams. Is it possible for the other Final Four teams to wear Duke down?
