When I was young, my mom promised me that she would never lie to me. I took that to heart and trusted everything she said. When I found about Santa Claus and all the other mythical creatures that surround holidays, I was very upset. I was mad that my mom would lie to me for so many years. She had broken my trust by lying to me like that. I wasn't ever going to trust her again. I guess I must have gotten over that because I trust her with everything now. It's funny to remember the things we did when we were nieces and nephews.
