I was reading yesterday about how connotations help us to interpret poems

I was reading about how Romeo calls Juliet the sun. I think it is really funny to think about what Romeo would be calling Juliet if he were actually calling her the definition of the sun rather than the connotations that come when referring to the sun.

I laughed a lot when I read about it in the book. He talked about how even a lovesick boy would never call a girl and fiery ball of gas that the different planets revolve around. I just thought that it was really funny.
