I love the seasons

It's getting cold now. I lived for years in San Diego, California. 72 degrees average all year long. It was fun, always running around warm and barefoot, but it never felt right to me.

Christmas just didn't seem like Christmas. Spring didn't seem like Spring. I've settled in a place with four seasons and I think I'll stay here forever.

First it's Spring. The tulips and flowers bloom, just like I think they should. Then, it warms up. I love the warm weather, the hot days. Then, just when it seems like I can't stand another hot day, they end.

The colors turn and the leaves start to fall and then it snows. It gets colder and colder. We love to watch the snow from inside our warm house.

Then, just when it seems we can't stand another day of cold, it gets warm again. The tulips come back. Every day is something to look forward to.
